My Current Top 15 Favorite Movies

I decided to lighten things up a bit… because I can! lol It’s been years since I’ve written anything talking about my “favorite” whatever. I’m going to spare you the “honor” of seeing those old articles; one is from 2014, and it was videos with me in them. The other two were in 2010 where I touched upon the topic of favorite sports movies and sci-fi movies.

I’ve had an interesting epiphany concerning favorite whatever. It’s hard to have a list of any topic be permanent when things are always changing and we’re always getting older. I’m sure a list of my favorite movies before I turned 18 would have been a much different list than what I’m presenting in my early 60’s (ouch!).

How Secure Are You From Being Tracked Via Your Browser?

Let’s start off with this. Two months ago I did a YouTube video talking about Facebook and how it’s tracking us through various means. To say I was shocked isn’t quite hard enough. Here’s the video:

Frankly, I thought that was enough to deal with. I use Firefox on my computer, and I’m blocking Facebook directly. I’ve stopped clicking on products being promoted on Instagram, so I made an assumption that those types of things wouldn’t occur again.

There’s A Lot Of “Mean” On Social Media

There’s a lot of great relationships to be made via social media. I’ve met people from all over the world who I can talk to at any time and have great conversations with. It’s always possible that I could potentially do work with some of them, and I’ve hired people from other countries here and there to handle some of the small things with either a website or blog that I wasn’t in the mood to do or didn’t have the time for.

As with anything in this world, there’s a whole lot of mean people also. Sometimes, the mean people are actually pretty nice most of the time, and then suddenly out of nowhere they look like they’ve just lost their minds for one reason or another.

7 More Blogging Lessons From The Past

In December I celebrated my 14th year of blogging on this site; yay me! lol With that said, something I haven’t mentioned often on articles that I decide to use as a repurposed article is that one of the reason I repurpose them is because I have a date limit for how long people can leave comments on them. When that date is passed, even if I wrote something where I think I left some good ideas for visitors, visitors who might want to comment or ask questions won’t be able to do so; I don’t think that’s fair to either of us.

This particular article was published on my 7th anniversary of blogging. I think it offered some good tips that I can flesh out a bit more here and there, but otherwise it’s not bad.

You’re Not Promoting Your Blog Or Yourself Properly

I try to be helpful; I really do. Back in 2018 I wrote an article titled 22 Things You Need To Do To Help Promote Your Blog Or Business On Social Media. Was it long? Yes; yes it was. The idea was to be comprehensive, and for its purpose, it was.

I may not look it, but I am!

Yet… it seems that maybe it wasn’t comprehensive enough. I mean, if I couldn’t get the message through in 3,000 words, what should I have done to get more attention? Actually, the article was pretty popular at the time I released it. Many people said they liked the tips. So, what happened after that?
