Do You Need A Contact Page?

Over all my years of creating websites, visiting websites, doing a bit of SEO and generally checking people out, one of the things I tend to believe is useless is a contact page. I touched upon it years ago when I wrote a post titled SEO & Common Business Sense, I said that I probably needed to write a post on my belief on contact pages since I stated it all the time. It’s about time I finally do that; stay tuned! 🙂

Let’s start with blogs just to get them out of the way. If you look at the left side of my blog, you see individual pages I’ve created. The most important page over there is my About page. If anyone’s really interested in reaching out to me for any reason that doesn’t pertain to a particular blog post, all the information needed is in there.

I See What You Did With Your Comment & You Did It Badly

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know how much I complain about people not commenting on blogs as much as they used to. I actually understand because there’s so much going on in social media where you can write a short line or just “like” something without having to take much time to write something legitimate.

Through the years I’ve said that people who leave good comments sometimes encourages others to visit their blogs or websites. If you write about the specific topic and you’re also know something about it, you enhance the quality of your comment, which always helps. Should You Have A Website?

There are a lot of people and businesses that have websites (or webpages) around the world. There are a lot more of each who don’t have websites but probably should. When it comes to being or trying to market a business, a general question that has to be asked is whether it’s viable for the owners of that business to have a website or not.
