Heck Sire, I transferred all those files over; that took a long time! The thing is, I found the initial files and moved those, which took more than an hour, and there was still a lot of junk on their hard drive. So I loaded a little program I have in reserve called More Space, and it found all the rest of his media files under the Documents and Settings area, which I’d totally forgotten about. By the time I was done I had cleared 68GBs from their main hard drive, which was only 144GB to begin with. It was definitely running much better once I’d done that.

And I do have more patience working on someone else’s computer, mainly because I know my computer is safe and working fine, so if I can’t fix someone else’s computer I still have my baby waiting to comfort me. lol

I’ve always found that I have a lot more patience working on someone else’s computer than my own. Is that the same with you Mitch?

Once he transfers those files over he should notice some improvement in speed.

That’s really annoying, specially when something went wrong and you have to reformat rightaway and you don’t have a back up of your files.
