Now, on my finance blog, your suggestion would definitely be worth a review, if I had any real traffic at all. I have some, but it will really need to bump itself up, no matter what I do there. With my other sites,... I'll have to think about those some more also, as the one niched site does well with Adsense & Infolinks, but nothing else.
