I started twitter a few months ago, since then I’ve begun to love it. When I started I hated Twitter it’s allowed me to network with people in my industry alot easier. News and updates happen in right away which makes for a great social communication app.

I also use tweetdeck mitch but people are telling me to switch to seesmic, I don’t know why it’s just the same twitter

Hi Jane,

The thing about using a 3rd party platform, ala TweetDeck, is you get to categorize people you definitely want to follow, as well as subjects you definitely want to follow, and separate them from the entire stream at large. I couldn’t possibly easily follow more than 1,300 people, but I can follow the 20 to 25 people I’ve specifically selected to follow.

I like twitter but I do find that it can be information overload at times! Also the choice of different platforms to use twitter on can be confusing. But right now I prefer Twitter to FB as its much quicker.
