Holiday Special From Li’l Specs

Posted by Mitch Mitchell on Dec 2, 2009

Hey, I’m married, okay! LOL

My wife is running a special promotion based on something new she’s offering from her business Li’l Specs. She makes pillow blankets, and they’re very nice blankets. She’s launching this for the holidays, and offering a special shipping deal if people order them before midnight Eastern Time on December 8th, which is next Monday.

She’s offering two sizes on the blankets, a large which is longer than I am tall (and I’m just over six feet tall), and a small one which is a great size for kids. She’s also offering a baby blanket, pillow and bib set. I’m not putting an image of what the blankets could look like here, since I want people to go to her site, but I’ve put up an image of her; ain’t she pretty? :-D

Of course, after the main promotion is over, it will remain as a product from here on out, but it’s as good a time as any to launch, since any money she can make for the holidays is always a good thing.

At least take a look to humor me, and if you know of anyone who might be interested in handmade, customized pillow blankets, or any of the other items she markets off the site, send them there.

Chased you down – on foot, or…..

Conspired to meet me, get me out on a date, then with my dad to get me married.

Don’t tell her, though. lol

Too late for a refund I suppose – one of my dads favorite lines. lol

I wouldn’t even think of asking for a refund; we have way too much fun together. :-)

I am having a hard time believing that she chased you down. I am sure you were running away really fast *insert sarcastic tone*.

When my kids were little I loved the pillow blankets. It was so easy to take them to a friends house, use in the car, or just have them on the couch.

And regular blankets really need to come back to the couch. If I see one more stupid Snuggy ad I will vomit. ;-)

Mitch Reply:

It’s true, Sheryl. I’d had a couple of bad relationships in a row, and I wasn’t looking for another one. But she was persistent and kept calling, and I wasn’t stupid! lol

The Snuggy doesn’t come close to comparing to her blankets. Hers are thicker, thus warmer and sturdier. And customized! Sure, they cost more than the Snuggly, but cost isn’t always the best indicator or quality, right? And I’m not saying that just because I’m the husband; I have loved mine from day one.

Dennis Edell Reply:

Hmm, does that mean as a husband you didn’t love from day one? (Now that was just cruel wasn’t it) hehe.

Nah, I’ve never been an “at first site” kind of guy; thank goodness!

Blankets, and any bedroom accessories are time-proof business. You could sell them anytime of the year. that’s a good idea Mitch.

Mitch Reply:

Yes, it was a nice idea she came up with. I only hope someone decides to ask her to make some blankets for them. Of course, the special offer is now gone.
