It's just not working for me either, and I've done some other manipulations without success. I think Google stopped caring once they started to develop their own stuff, and it's too bad. But in any case i have found W7 Search to be pretty good, and it does appear to index Tbird emails. BUT, it does NOT open the emails into Tbird, even though that is an option.
