Prior to Mozilla Firefox 3.5, it was also possible to select a tab and then scroll through other tabs using only the directional arrow keys on the keyboard. It would be nice to see more options for controlling these types of behaviors from tools-options or even about:config in the next release.

Thanks for the mention, Mitch. I’ve faced the same problem as you did and I’m very pissed off with it! Well, I’m going to try it out and see if it works to me…
