Thanks Cynthia. I have always thought it was important to flesh out one’s about page at least a little bit to let people into your personality just a little bit. I’m glad you like mine; you know I’m on the way to yours now.

Actually, I always go to the About page – and if it’s flimsy or non-existent, I am disappointed and less-impressed with the blog and blogger. Yours has not disappointed, I am impressed by the breadth and depth of your experience, and by your being so game to start new gigs – all of which, together with the basic concept and quality of content here, has convinced me to add your blog to my feed reader – so you see, it works! Also, I think using the About page to link into blog entries and other content is a good way of luring your readers deeper into your site – if one thing doesn’t hook them, hopefully another will!

As others have said as soon as hit a blog I like I normally go for the about page to get a better idea of the author.

Just letting you know there’s some problem with your commentluv section. It’s showing some error message about failing to parse the last comment. Other comments above show that too. Is it due to Andy’s new update announced yesterday? I haven’t done this upgrade too.
