Google Analytics is a great program to check statistics, and they’ve even added something where you can track which pages generate Adsense income. Here’s my early post on Analytics, then my follow up post on Adsense & Analytics.

Hi,

I have noticed an increase in my Adsense account and it’s becoming steady (meaning pretty much everyday). It’s not a lot of money but compared to a couple of months ago when I was getting nothing at all, this is a good thing.

My problem is I am not quite sure where it’s coming from as I have a lot of sites out there. I did set up channels but the channels that Google is telling me are the top channels don’t make a whole lot of sense when I check their webalizer stats.

I haven’t tried Google Analytics yet. Has anyone used this and will it help with knowing where I getting the most Adsense clicks from?

Thanks for sharing mert. Seems I started making more money with Chitika once I removed the plugin, though I can’t say I got rich. lol

I am using the same plugin, but my revenue has increased since then. All ads displayed using the plugin are somehow relevant to my content. Thanks for the update though, I will check Chitika Premium ads regularly from now on.

I don’t think it’s hurting me on purpose, Klaus, but I also don’t think it’s bringing up the kind of ads I’d like it to bring up, as Adsense does.

You’re right, that’s odd. I think I saw Problogger recommending it, so I don’t think they are “cheating” you on purpose, but with computers it can be hard to determine the outcome each time.

You may be right, Klaus, but when I was testing it I wasn’t looking for my business. Matter of fact, based on what they say, I shouldn’t have seen it at all, since I was looking at my site for other reasons, and just happened to start paying attention to what was on top. I have no real idea what it might have been showing everyone else, but I was uncomfortable.

I started using it about a week ago, also with the WP plugin that only shows the ads to those coming from search engines. I tested it a few times myself and it seemed to only show results relevant to the search they came from.

So if people searhced for your business domain and found this blog from it, then that’s probably why it displayed ads related to that?

I also have doubts how effective it is, income wise, we probably need more visitors in order to really benefit from it
