		<description>Thanks for the great article.  My mother is Helga Curtis and tells me all the time about first time writers who immediately think they can publish - and then she says what they need is an agent, and they&#039;re tough to get.  She&#039;s written and published several story and quilting books and is working on two more right now (at the age of 89!), but she&#039;s written columns in newspapers and had articles published in magazines prior to this for many years.  Your advice is right on, Mitch.  If you&#039;re going to write, make sure you&#039;ve got enough for just one book, and that your genre (or niche) is large enough.</description>
