Beyond Blogging Has Now Launched!

Posted by Mitch Mitchell on Dec 27, 2009

I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and is looking forward to a great new year. And I hope you didn’t spend all your money because the Beyond Blogging book has finally launched! Actually, it launched some time ago, but I’m not quite sure when. I’m in New York, and one of the authors of the book lives in the Canary Islands, and I have no idea what time it makes it here. So, I’m basing it off England time, though I think the Canary Islands are near Spain; geography isn’t my best subject by a long shot. So, either it launched about 15 minutes ago or an hour ago; either way, it’s launched.

The secrets to blogging success

So, what is Beyond Blogging about? I wrote a review about it, which you can check out. Yes, I’ve read the book, so I’m not pushing anything on you that I haven’t seen. Then there were the different stages of the selling process; this is my first true joint venture project. So I wrote a review, then invited you to check out their special report, and finally there was the enticing video and offer to join the affiliate program as well.

Now, based on how these things work, I guess I’m supposed to write one more post in a couple of days as the followup reminder, and I’ll do that. And, as you can see, I’ve already added the book there on the left side where I hope some folks decide they want to possibly check on it as these posts slide away. It may not stay there, though; more information coming on that elsewhere.

So, get out there, buy the book, sign up for the affiliate program and sell the Beyond Blogging book yourself. Thanks for reading; and now, sports. :-)

Chandan, I have to admit I’m not quite sure what you’re asking me here. I will say that you should read my review of the book, which I linked to, and then maybe ask the question again if you need to. It’s not really an instruction book, if that’s what you’re asking.

Actually there’s only ONE NAME on that list that I recognize and I am curious if this is just another one of those “Look at me and see what I did and you can do it to” books or does it offer real value? Not long ago, I purchased a book that was floating around Twitter from so-called Twitter Experts on how to get the most out of Twitter. I should’ve known the book wasn’t all that when I was asked to be included but I wrote my story anyway. It sold for $19.95. Quite a few folks I later talked to said they were very disappointed in how the book turned out–and yes, so was I.

I guess what I’m really trying to find out is if there is one fool proof system all of the bloggers referred to in the book can agree on that makes them $$$.

One more thing and I’ll shut up: Where are the female bloggers?????

Hi Bev,

First, there are a couple of female bloggers in this book, but I hadn’t heard of them so I didn’t mention their names.

Second, no, this isn’t a “how-to” book at all. It does tell their stories, how they got to where they got and there are some things there that someone might glean and be able to use for themselves. But an instruction book; nope. Still, at around 220 pages, there’s definitely something for everyone. Think of it like Rich Dad Poor Dad, if you read that book. I loved the book until the last 10 pages, because I thought there were going to be strategies to follow, and there weren’t. But I didn’t throw out what the entire book meant to me just because it didn’t have one thing I was hoping for.
