Awkward Family Photos

First, let me say I’m glad none of these are my family.

Second, I want to mention that I was interviewed by another blogger, so check out New Media Bloggers, and blame Sire for it.

A short post for today, so y’all can take a breather. I came across this site, for which one of the pictures was highlighted by one of the people I’m friends with on Facebook. The site is called Awkward Family Photos, and the creator, who doesn’t have an About page and thus I know nothing about, finds, or receives, family pictures that, well, are just funny for one reason or another.

He also pops in snap commentary here and there, and that’s pretty funny also. I would show one of the images and bits of commentary here, but I think it’s enough that I share the link back to the site and let you experience it on your own.

It seems to be a very popular site also; notice how many comments each of the posts gets for saying very little. Man, to find a niche like this! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Hahahaha wow, that was a pleasant diversion. Some are hilarious, others are indeed awkward (see: Saturday Night Special).

Glad you enjoyed it, Tim. Yeah, I saw that one first, which is why I had to go look through the site at others. I loved the woman and her daughters all wearing the sunflower clothes also.

Come on Mitch! I am sure that you can contribute some nice old photograph to the site. Imagine becoming famous all over the blogsphere! Perhaps with a fake laughter while at it.
