12 Things “I’m Just Sharing” Addressed In 2012

A couple of weeks ago on 12/12/12 I wrote a post titled 12 Things For 12/12/12. That one was more a post about stuff I believed in, more of an opinion piece. This one is something quite different.

I decided to do a post on things this blog addressed in 2012. This particular post is #199 on the year, and since we all know I’ll have at least 2 more posts, if not 3 more, by 12/31, it’s easy to say that I’ve written more than 200 posts this year, which is actually down for me and yet has made for a more comfortable blogging year, especially since I added 2 more blogs last year.

I talk about multiple topics in the video, and to get you to watch the video I’m not going to necessarily tell you what all those topics were. However, I did have these 12 titles and links that I briefly mentioned in some fashion, which is what the video was based on. So I’m going to give those links beneath the video. It’s about 20 minutes long; I was shooting for 10 minutes but there’s no timer! I did it using Google+ Live Hangout, which means anyone could have been watching, except I started it around 12:45 or so in the morning, so I doubt anyone saw it live, and that’s just fine. Hey, at least I know Brian will watch it, though I mentioned Sheryl, Ileane, and Holly. :-)

I disagree that you’re not a good marketer. You do a nice job with your blogs and drawing interaction.

I’d like to recommend a future post where you relate blogging to… What Bloggers Can Learn From The Honey Badger”. lol

The 12 posts are right in line with tradition. I think the Google Authorship post was very important to bloggers. I also admired the Black Web Friday series and that’s important for everyone.

Thanks Brian; you watched twice? :-) We’re going to find out in 2013 just how good a marketer I am. As for the honey badger, I’ll leave that to you & Sheryl because I’ve still yet to go find out what that is.

We’re gonna take over blogging in 2013!

Ileane, it’s always there, and I’m glad you were a big part of it. Thing is, at times it felt like a major waste of time because even the people I highlighted seemed to miss the point, and I’m not sure if any of the folks you added to the Twitter list even know they’re on there. Still, we did our thing, and we’ll do more things come 2013.

Mitch, I think all topics that you covered during the year were very interesting all readers. 5 years old blog, well this is an achievement, you are definitely one of the pioneers. Good marketer, well I think you are good, but probably same as me, you are not good sales person.

An experienced business owner that have managed few major international companies have said that to me about 5 years ago and I think he was right. Of course I agree that always there is space for improvement and I am also work to improve this in me.

Great video, Mitch. Congratulations on five years in blogging. I don’t know anyone else who’s been doing it that long, or that consistently. Wow — 1,400 posts! Congratulations also on making all that progress on your next book, and for taking steps toward better health.
